This reactor transforms the mass transfer process of traditional tank reactors. Instead of the gas phase (ethylene oxide or propylene oxide) diffusing into the liquid phase (initiator), the
initiator (dispersed phase) is sprayed as fine droplets into the gas phase (continuous phase). This significantly increases the gasliquid contact area, enabling rapid reactions.
